Nike Gold Series Collection: Kobe 9, Lebron 11, KD 6
Nike will release a Gold Series Collection of Kobe 9, Lebron 11 and KD 6 on Friday June 6. The Kobes will be retail at $225 and basically feature an all white based colorway with grey, carbon fiber back side panel, grey soles, gold swoosh, and black laces. The Lebron 11 will retail at $275 and feature mostly black, but with gold metallic side and back side, icy blue soles, pinkish lace inserts and outlining of the top and tongue and pink and black pattern laces. The KD 6 will be retailed at $200 and contain flywire material of pink color and grey with a gold Nike swoosh and gold “Kd”, a pinkish midsole with air bubble, pink lace inserts and clear icy soles. They will release from footaction, eastbay, nike, footlocker and some champs. Nike states 1 limit order per customer, but despite this, we only see the Kobe 9s selling out. The Lebron 11s look appealing, but the $275 retail price tag won’t appeal to many peoples’ wallets so we think they will sit, along with the KDs. KD’s in general initial regular retail is $130 but these KD’s are $200, a $70 increase. Nevertheless, we see the Kobe’s reselling at a steady price of $250-280, but the hype price could very well be $300-330 within the first couple weeks to a month. The Lebrons if they do sell out can be around $300. The KD’s in our opinion will probably be $220-230 if sold out.
