Kobe 9 Low University Red
The Kobe 9 Elite Low University Red releases September 13th, 2014 for a retail price of $200. The sneaker features basic all red flynit upper, white Nike swoosh logo on the side, black sole, carbon fiber side plating and black with turquoise-like speckles that also match the laces and Kobes black logo on the tongue. These will be semi-limited, and sold from nike, eastbay and footlocker. Despite the Lebron 11 ‘What The’ releasing the same day, we still think these Kobe’s will sell out, because many people are likely to luck out to get the Lebrons, and people can opt to buying these Kobes instead. People will likely focus more on the Lebrons, so if people who really want these try to attempt to get these before the Lebrons, their chances of getting these are high. This Kobe colorway is appealing, however they would have been better as high tops like the original Kobe 9s. The true overall steady after-hype value should be around $240-260, but we expect resellers to try to sell these around $300+ due to hype.
