Foamposite One Wheat
The Foamposite Wheat will release on October 18th for a retail of $250. The sneaker resembles the same design and colorway as the typical work boots. It features all nubuck with brown upper back and pull tab. The soles seem to be icy clear but Nike labeled them as “gum” soles. The carbon fiber is a black and brown checkered plate, and they feature metal-looking eyelets for the laces, which are also uniquely designed for this shoe. This is a pretty appealing colorway for many sneakerheads worldwide and Foamposite fans. They were supposed to release earlier but rescheduled. They are semi-limited and nike, eastbay, footlocker, ruvilla, some footaction stores will be carrying them. Some stores may do raffle procedure as opposed to first come first serve. They have a good chance at selling out, similar to the Black Suede/Nubuck Foamposites that released earlier this year. But some stores may have few pairs still available. Because the retail price is already high, we don’t think they will value for much more than that. For hype, you may see resellers sell these for $300+, but at most, they’ll go for around $280 during hype (which is already close to retail and tax), until eventually they value around $220-260 after hype dies down. Had they remained retailed normally around the $200-220 range before nike bumped up the price, it would be different.
Sell-Out Chance Rate: 80%
Retail Value: $250
Predicted Hype Value via Resellers: $280-300
Predicted True Steady Value Overtime after hype: $220-260
